  • Set technical / technology directions to support corporate and business objectives
  • Operational responsibility of regional facilities as designated; ensure adherence to internal/AABB (or other applicable international) standards and local authority guidelines
  • Process development and continuous improvement
  • Provide technical support/advice to business functions
  • Provide directions, advice to Lab Managers on all technical & lab operational aspects
  • Oversee cord blood unit releases.
  • Interfacing with Doctors & clients, when required.
  • Evaluate processing data, ensure product safety, efficacy and endpoints met
  • Ensure daily aspects of laboratory processes are performed in accordance with SOPs and quality standards met
  • Scouting and assessments of potential new products, services, technologies and processes for the company
  • Authority on the generation, review and approval of new policies, processes and procedures
  • Authority on technical/laboratory changes and internal product quality criteria
  • Authority on the initiation and maintenance of relationship with internal and external stakeholders relevant to new opportunities as well as negotiation with parties


  • PhD in Biomedical/ Biotechnology or any other life sciences with experience and strong technical knowledge in genetics, molecular or medical diagnostics preferred
  • Laboratory management experience is preferable
  • Knowledge of AABB/FACT Netcord standards, CAP laboratory guidelines, cGMP guidelines for advanced cell/tissue therapy products is preferred.
  • Must be Hepatitis B immunized
  • Travelling is required


  • Develop and roll out new product lines to the different countries.
  • Incubate the new rolled-out product lines as overall product manager prior to handing over to permanent product caretaker/manager.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle management of rolled out initiatives.
  • Identifying potential new products or services by conducting market research and industry review.
  • Generate product requirements, product specifications, tech transfer timetables and pricing plans.
  • Lead the generation of time-integrated/go-to-market plans for product introduction by liaising with the different stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee execution of operational roll outs for new products/initiatives in conjunction with various Corporate and regional teams.
  • Facilitate and oversee the sales readiness of the relevant regional teams for the launch (or testing) of new products/initiatives.
  • Gathers market, customer and competitor data that will assist/result in further product improvement and development, and report findings on a regular basis.
  • Any other duties and/or projects that may arise from new business development activities, as directed.


  • Degree in Business or Science-related discipline with at least 3 years of working experience in product management (or marketing and business development roles with product management responsibilities).
  • Familiar with the healthcare industry and experience in diagnostics products/services.
  • Must have prior knowledge and experience in managing and executing the operational roll outs of new initiatives.
  • Able to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, be customer focused, team and results-oriented.
  • May require to travel


  • Support the Line Manager in the execution of marketing initiatives (digital marketing, events management, roll out of tactical promotions and brand campaigns, management of loyalty & referral programs, development of marketing materials, etc.)
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions and assist in the execution of all marketing initiatives / plans / strategies
  • Support in the planning, development, implementation and performance tracking of effective digital strategies to drive campaign performance across digital platforms
  • Rotational lead and support functions in the management of events (ie: baby fairs, seminars, client nurturing events, etc.)
  • Craft marketing content to drive maximum audience engagement across multiple platforms
  • End-to-end execution and management of marketing campaigns – from content generation and copywriting, to campaign tracking and reporting
  • Source, manage and liaise with agencies and vendors to develop marketing materials (e.g. product brochures, detailing aids, website content, etc.)
  • Segment leads and/or client database to effectively execute Marketing campaigns
  • Marketing operations support (ie: expense reporting, raising of purchase orders, etc.)


  • Diploma/ Degree with at least 1-2 years of experience in digital media and social media marketing
  • Knowledge of traditional marketing
  • Ability to copy write
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Experience in working with agencies (ie: media, creative, etc.)
  • Strong command of English with a flair for writing
  • Multitasker with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Highly attentive to details
  • Team player with strong project management skills, yet possesses the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision



  • Assist the Line Manager to maintain customer service excellence activities/programs.
  • Contribute to the Customer Relations team by providing support on pre and post sales related enquiries (promotions, products and service) through various customer touch-points (calls, emails and website enquiries).
  • Resolve customer’s complaint/feedback through excellent service recovery, promoting customer satisfaction.
  • Instill customer loyalty and retention through the company's retention programs and outbound service calls
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Line Manager from time to time


  • Diploma with minimum 1 year Customer Service / Telemarketing experience
  • Highly independent and organized
  • Team player

  • Positive attitude with a pleasant personality
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
  • Proficient in computer skills; Microsoft Office
  • Client relation management knowledge will be an added advantage
